Scope of Raw Material

It can process a wide range of materials, such as wood chips, pine, bamboo, peanut shell, rice husk, straw, grass, animal waste and some other organic matters.
 

Parameter of Material and Pellets

Pellets produced may have different density, size, moisture and diameter according to the characteristics of materials. For example, the max length of wood sawdust should be no longer than 6mm if the diameter of holes in the die is 6mm. The moisture content would be appropriate when controlled between 10% and 18%. Materials whose lignin or sugar content is high will need less moisture. After proper preparation of raw material, the density of produced pellets can reach 1100kg/m3.

Flat die pellet mills can be divided into two types: die-turning and roller-turning. Die- turning pellet mill means the die is driven by the principal axis, while the roller-turning pellet mill means the press is driven by the principal axis with die not turning.

Operation and Maintenance
